Senator Angela Mosley’s Senate Bill 263 to be Heard in Committee
JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Angela Mosley, D-Florissant, on Wednesday, April 9, will present Senate Bill 263 to the Families, Seniors and Health Committee at 8 a.m. in Senate Committee Room 1 in the State Capitol.
This bill creates the Cancer Patients’ Bill of Rights, which will ensure patients understand their diagnoses and the treatments available to them. It will also make the entire process more transparent in relation to timetables and costs.
“Cancer patients deserve timely and efficient treatment,” Sen. Mosley said. “I believe the fight against cancer is painful enough and it is time to remove the fog of confusion surrounding this battle.”
