Senator Sandy Crawford's Capitol Report for the Week of May 12, 2025

    May 15, 2025

The 2025 regular legislative session has come to a close. I believe it was successful session and I was able to get several of my priorities to the governor’s desk. Already signed into law was Senate Bill 1. This bill will help several county officials, including public administrators, auditors and coroners.

We were also able to pass the Fiscal Year 2026 state operating budget ahead of the constitutionally mandated deadline, make changes for small business owners and will give Missouri voters a say in health care matters. I will have more details for you in a future column.

I am honored to serve as your senator in the Missouri Senate. If, at any time, you have questions, concerns or ideas regarding state government, please feel free to contact me at 573-751-8793 or Sandy.Crawford@senate.mo.gov.
