Senator Angela Mosley Shares News of Disaster Relief
JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Angela Mosley, D-Florissant, shares the president has signed and approved Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds for individual assistance for those who suffered damages or loss during the severe storms over March 14 and 15.
Individual assistance can include housing repairs, temporary housing assistance, vehicles, and other expenses.
“The damages these storms have caused to our communities is hard to grasp,” Sen. Mosley said. “I am glad that relief is finally on its way.”
The qualified areas include: Bollinger, Butler, Camden, Carter, Franklin, Howell, Iron, Jefferson, Oregon, Ozark, Perry, Phelps, Reynolds, Ripley, St. Louis County, Wayne, Webster and Wright counties.
Affected citizens can apply for aid at 1-800-621-3362 or online at disasterassistance.gov. Relief for the storms on April 29 and May 16 are still awaiting approval.
